Action Jackson Figures
Mego released Action Jackson in 1971. Each figure came with a jumpsuit, military tag, white belt, and white boots. Other outfits were sold separately.

Action Jackson was released in Germany on the Type 2 body. Type 2 Action Jackson has a plastic belt instead of an elastic belt, no "AJ" sticker, and no military tag. Also, his jumpsuit is made from a different material that looks more purple than blue.

Action Jackson was released in the U.K. as "Johnnie Jackson" by Mego distributor Cecil Coleman Ltd.
Action Jackson was released in Italy as "L'Amico Jackson" by Mego distributor Baravelli.
Italy is the only country where Black Action Jackson was released on a Type 1 body.

A cheaper version of Action Jackson called "Amigo" was sold by Mego in the 1972 Montgomery Ward Christmas catalog.

Amigo has a red jumpsuit, a different belt buckle, no "AJ" sticker or military tag, and comes on a cruder body type with bendable arms.
Captain Eagle is a knockoff 8" figure that was sold and bundled by retailers with official Action Jackson outfits in the 1970s. He is not marked "Mego" and does not have an "AJ" sticker or military tag. The body type is the same one used for the Fighting Furies knockoff Captain Patch.
