Frankenstein had two different head sculpts. He was initially sold with a "flat top." Due to licensing issues, Mego had to change the sculpt. A small number of flat top heads were painted blue before Mego came out with the new sculpt. Blue-Haired Frankenstein figures are very rare and desired by collectors.

A small number of smooth hair heads were painted red before Mego came out with the new sculpt. Red-Haired Dracula figures are very rare and desired by collectors.
