A mystery for decades, Sky Guy was manufactured by Mego and distributed by Schaper Toys in 1974. Previously referred to as "Mystery Astronaut" or "Mystery Pilot," Sky Guy is actually a skydiver! This amazing discovery was made by collector Jordan Barrett and initially reported by Brian Heiler (curator of the Mego Museum Website, user 'Palitoy' on the Mego Museum Forums, creator of Plaid Stallions, and author of Toy-Ventures Magazine)! A video documenting the discovery can be found here!

Sky Guy was sold in a shrink-wrapped box set with parachute and guide line. In 1977, a large number of loose figures were liquidated and sold at five-and-dime stores in generic, unmarked clear cellophane bags (without the parachute and guide line).
